Jacqueline Edens, Chief Executive Officer jedens@ivchi.org 312-994-4351
Born and raised in Chicago, Jackie began her 29-year career with the City of Chicago in 1975 in positions including Mobile Crisis Intervention Worker, Shelter Clearinghouse Coordinator; Asst. Director of Legislative and Community Affairs; Director of Homeless Services; Asst. Commissioner, Division of Family Support Services; and Commissioner, Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development. After retiring in 2004, Jackie consulted in workforce development and homeless services. In June of 2012 she joined the board of Inner Voice and became CEO that September. All of Jackie’s kids have paws and they all currently live in Logan Square.

Diana Mitchell, Chief Program Officer dmitchell@ivchi.org 312-994-5842 Diana provides the day-to-day leadership and management that mirrors the mission and core values of the agency. Diana is a goal-oriented, high energy, hands-on professional, with a successful record of accomplishments in the field of supportive services. She is detailed oriented and program centered with a strong commitment to facilitating the needs of disadvantaged individual/families within the homeless, veterans and special needs populations. Ms. Mitchell has been with Inner Voice for 20 years in various positions. She lives in Chicago with her husband, mother and five grown children.

Khurram Navaid, Chief Financial Officer knavaid@ivchi.org 312-994-5835 As CFO, Khurram is responsible for Inner Voice’s financial matters including budgeting, analyzing and audit work. Before joining Inner Voice, Khurram worked for over 20 years in the field of Accounting and Finance in his home country of Pakistan. In his free time, Khurram enjoys photography, sports and cooking.

Tracey Dulaney, Deputy CPO tdulaney@ivchi.org 312-994-4357 Tracey graduated from Chicago State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology in June 1990. Her social service career began at Inner Voice in 2006, where she worked as a case manager, lead case manager, and assistant director. After seven years with Inner Voice, she was recruited by a partnering agency where she obtained several certifications, including as a National Certified Recovery Specialist. After 10 years with this agency, Tracey returned to Inner Voice, the place she always considered home, in late 2022.

Andrew Gaddy, Director, Eddie Beard Veterans Transitional Housing Program agaddy@ivchi.org 312-994-4353 Andrew began his career with the largest substance abuse treatment facility in the city of Chicago, where he gained experience working with individuals looking to regain control of their lives and realized then that his calling was that of service to others. Over these past two decades he's held positions as a detox specialist, certified assessment and referral specialist (CARS), certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC), program coordinator for Responsible Fatherhood Program, Housing Liaison, Case Manager, and Director at Eddie Beard Vet House.

Halbert Williams, Director, Veterans Programs hwilliams@ivchi.org 312-994-5838 Halbert studied social work and addiction in college, and put his knowledge to work with positions at a workforce development agency and a homeless services agency prior to joining Inner Voice as a VA case manager. With his knowledge and easy rapport, Halbert was promoted to manage Inner Voice’s Veterans transitional home.

Nancy J Powell, Director, Client Resource Development & Communications npowell@ivchi.org 312-994-4354 Nancy has spent most of her career in event management, marketing and communications and the last 17 of those years as the owner of a small boutique marketing agency. It is through her volunteer work that her passion for non-profit work has grown and brought her to Inner Voice. She is thrilled to be working with such a committed team that work tirelessly to help families, individuals and veterans find a place to call home after experiencing homelessness. With the right resources, caring support, job training and more, the organization and its team make a difference every day. Even more impressive to Nancy is the number of people that work on this team that have at some point been clients/participants of Inner Voice and want to give back what they received themselves through Inner Voice. Nancy joins this team to help build support, awareness and funds for Inner Voice and its clients. In her free time, Nancy enjoys photography, time with friends and family and baking.

Karen Reed, Finance Manager kreed@ivchi.org 312-994-4360 Karen manages the day-to-day operations of the Finance department. She has worked for Inner Voice for since 2013, and came to the agency with an extensive background in commercial leasing and banking. A Certified Professional Bookkeeper, in 2019, Karen completed the Nonprofit Management Essentials program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management.
